The magnificent Porsche 917 in 1970-1971 was powered by a normally aspirated 4.5 ltr to 5.0 ltr horizontally opposed 12 cylinder engine making 580 hp, reaching speeds of 230+ MPH. The car is constructed in a mid-engine configuration with an aluminum chassis and fiberglass body weighing only 1,760 pounds.

This is the #20 car driven by Steve McQueen (as Michael Delaney) in the 1970 movie "Le Mans".
